We’ll have pedal bikes taking us towards the lower side of Broadway. Lower Broadway is where unique Nashville joints are playing the music and keeping the party going with excellent drink specials. The venues in this area have some of the best music in town.

The South's most rewarding showplace, Belle Meade Plantation, is known as the "Queen of the Tennessee Plantations." The Fully restored Greek Revival mansion was completed in 1853 and the grounds include a large carriage house, stable, log cabin, winery, and several other original buildings. Guests will enjoy a southern lunch while at Belle Meade Plantation and a wine tasting at Belle Meade Plantation's winery. 


 

Canoeing on the Harpeth River

Grab a friend, canoe, life jacket, and a paddle. Enjoy a leisurely paddle down the Harpeth River surrounded by the beauty of Middle Tennessee. This two hour trip down the river is great for those of all ages and experience levels and gives you a chance to relax while enjoying the great outdoors. Two bottles of water and one snack will be provided. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes, bathing suits, and shoes that can get wet.

Transportation departing Nashville Renaissance hotel at 12:15 pm

Designed and built by Tom Kite and Bob Cupp the South Course takes players through green fields in the shadow of historic Roper’s Knob hillside. These courses are widely recognized as among the finest in Tennessee, having served as the hosts of many local, regional and national competitions.
For ISD, box lunches will be available at the club for pickup; there will be a cash-basis beverage/snack cart available during the tournament. Our own ISD Volunteers will be arranging the pairings as usual.

The Tennessee State Museum
Find art, history and culture at one of the largest museums in the nation. Interpretive exhibits begin 15,000 years ago with prehistoric people and continue through the early 1900s, with displays  of furniture, silver, weapons, quilts, and paintings. 

Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park
Located in the shadow of the Capitol in downtown Nashville, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State park gives visitors a taste of Tennessee's history and natural wonders. The park serves as a lasting monument to Tennessee's bicentennial celebration, which occurred on June 1, 1996. 

Centennial Park and the Parthenon
Centennial Park boasts the Parthenon, the only full-scale replica of the original in Athens, Greece. Built for the Tennessee Centennial, the first floor houses a permanent art collection and temporary art exhibits. The centerpiece of the Parthenon is the statue of Athena created by local artist Alan LeQuire.
