Jim Traeger | Application Engineer | Atos North America
Speakers: Jim Traeger, Application Engineer, Atos North America. Mr. Traeger will be leading this discussion, alongside Luis Martinez, Regional Sales Manager, Atos North America.
Jim Traeger has 20 years of experience in hydraulic controls, with much of the time focused on power generation. His has worked in the hydro, steam, and wind power industries – usually focused on the prime mover controls. Prior to working at Atos North America, Jim commissioned over 40 hydro turbine control systems at major hydroelectric producers around the world. Since working with Atos North America, Jim has been able to work on site at steam power plants and wind farms. He performs regular maintenance, troubleshoots problems, and makes recommendations for upgrade to their hydraulic controls. Because of this broad range of experience, Jim has been repeatedly requested by customers to work on turbine controls in order to fix long-standing issues that couldn’t be resolved by others. Jim has a BS of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
